
Introduction
Successful 33rd Annual General Meeting and Election of the 16th Executive Committee
The Malaysia Heavy Construction Equipment Owners’ Association successfully held its 33rd Annual General Meeting on Saturday, 29 March 2025, at Pudu Plaza Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, with strong member attendance and active participation. A key highlight of the meeting was the election of the 16th Executive Committee, which took place through a transparent and democratic voting process. The top 17 candidates with the highest number of votes were elected to lead the Association for the 2025β2028 term.
In accordance with Clause 7.1 of the Associationβs revised Constitution, the newly elected committee members held their first committee meeting on 4 April 2025 to mutually elect and appoint positions within the committee. Notably, Mr. Leong Foo Yew was re-elected as President, continuing his dedicated leadership for another term.
The new Executive Committee consists of experienced leaders who will continue to strengthen the Association, protect members’ interests, promote sustainable industry development, and foster close cooperation with government bodies and related agencies to face future challenges.
